Curious about how Panasonic’s cameras stack up against one another? Well Panasonic is holding a series of workshops to show you just that, one of which will be this Saturday, October 15th.
A “series of training sessions that offer a comprehensive review of our VariCam 35 and LT cameras”, Panasonic’s VariCam Hollywood Workshops is a seven part series that will address all aspects of their use. Panasonic will bring VariCam “specialists and industry experts” to show attendees first hand all of the VariCam’s production uses. The second of seven workshops, this weekend’s event will focus specifically on “the similarities and differences between the VariCam 35 and LT 4K cinema cameras.
“The event will be about 3 hours. The first hour is more of a presentation, after which we break off into two or three groups so attendees can get hands on time with the cameras”, explains Panasonic’s Neil Matsumoto. “There will even be a little bit of lab work if anyone wants to take footage home.”
The event is currently sold out (and did so quite fast) due to limited space. However, as this is a seven part series, there will be plenty of more chances to sign up. Also, with events such as this, there are sometimes cancelations and seats open up, so you should still keep an eye on their event page: www.Eventbrite.com/e/VariCam-Hollywood-Workshops-VariCam-35-LT-Similarities-Differences-Tickets-28228718858
