I’ll bet you it’s almost all of us. I know I’m one of them.
Well, there’s a heredity test out there called BRACAnalysis®. It’s a test for individuals thought to be at high risk for hereditary breast or ovarian cancer because of a personal and/or family history of breast or ovarian cancer. BRACAnalysis detects mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, the gene mutations that are responsible for the vast majority of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
Just Ask is a group getting the word out about this test, and wants people to know that they can be screened for their chances of breast cancer. And to get people’s attention, they’re offering some sweet giveaways for their Facebook fans.
I thought so. It’s a Canon EOS Rebel XS SLR digital camera with a 18-55mm IS lens kit. Pretty great, huh? Say hello to amazing photos of your kids, everyday moments captured at home, and how about some sweet before-and-after shots for Project: Simplify(hint hint…)?
1. ‘Like’ Just Ask on Facebook. Then come back here and leave me a comment, telling me you did so. That’s it!
2. For a second entry, subscribe to this blog either via email or RSS feed. Already a subscriber? That counts, too. Just leave an additional comment here, telling me you subscribe. This is also my way of saying thank you to the many of you who do subscribe — we’re almost at 30,000!
3. For a third entry, ‘like’ Simple Mom on Facebook. Then leave yet another comment here, telling me you’ve done it.
If you subscribe via email, remember — you must come over to the blog to leave a comment on this post.
Edited to add: If you want to enter three times, you must leave three separate comments. Yep — a comment for option 1, another for option 2, and yet another for option 3. Feels redundant, I know, but that’s the only way I can fairly draw a winner without losing my head. Thanks for understanding.
This giveaway will end on Saturday, March 5 at 11:59 p.m. CST. I’ll randomly draw one of the winners and announce it soon after. I hope you win!
