We’ve previously talked about the film ‘4GOT10’ when it was announced that it would be screening at the Burbank International Film Festival as Friday’s “Centerpiece Feature Film”. Now, not only is it screening, but it’s also been nominated for several awards, including Best Picture.
Distributed by Cinedigm and produced by Status Media and Entertainment, 4GOT10 has received several award nominations at the 2015 Burbank International Film Festival:
- Best Feature Film
- Best Actor – Dolph Lundgren
- Best Actor – Johnny Messner
- Best Actor – Michael Paré
4GOT10 tells the story of Brian (Johnny Messner) who wakes in the desert surrounded by dead bodies, millions of dollars in cash, a van full of drugs and no memory of how he got there. He soon learns that he is being hunted by a notorious drug lord, played by Danny Trejo, a DEA agent, Dolph Lundgren and a corrupt Sheriff played by Michael Paré.
Nearly all of the film was shot on the Blackmagic URSA, as we chronicled in our previous story. Soon we will interview director Timothy Woodward Jr. on his experience shooting an entire feature with the URSA, as well as the numerous practical effects such as live gunfire and men lit on fire.
4GOT10 will screen this Friday, September 11th at 9pm at the Burbank AMC Town Center 6 (770 N. 1st St., Burbank, CA 91502) as the festival’s Centerpiece Feature Film. You can purchase tickets for just $15 at www.itsmyseat.com
