While the DP7 Pro has been out for a bit, SmallHD was showing off some of the awesome new upgrades to its software. Most notable among these upgrades is live, on monitor color grading and SmallHD’s Wes Phillips was able to tell us more.
Matthews Studio Equipment is known the world over for their C-Stands, however they have quite the line of other camera support gear as well. Among their list of many new products released at NAB were improvements to the popular FloatCam DC Slider.

As a lens manufacturer, the Zeiss NAB booth is naturally full of wall to wall lenses. However this year there was a new item that stood out from the crowd: the cinemizer OLED. Zeiss’ Annette Tindall was on hand to tell us everything we needed to about this unexpected new product.
At NAB 2014, Marshall Electronics debuted their new V-LCD71MD 7” camera top monitor. The V-LCD71MD has many of the same features of Marshall’s MD line of monitors, with the added benefit of a full 1920 x 1080 resolution and a high brightness, LED backlit IPS panel.
In the rush to add LUTs to a camera top monitor, Small HD has crossed the finish line. Their latest firmware upgrade for their DP7-PRO monitor now offers “…native support for nearly any 3D LUT filetype”.
