Some of you may already be familiar with the Los Angeles Post Production Group, or LAPPG. The group is “…for anyone with a passion for digital filmmaking and the post-production process“. They meet every second Wednesday of the month, and this month is a very special one for HDSLR Shooters, as our own Clint Milby will be one of their guest speakers.
Naturally, Clint’s topic of the night will be DSLR post production workflow, from capture to delivery. He’ll also be going over how to incorporate the Atomos Ninja-2, as well as talk a bit about using the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. He will also cover timesaving applications like Adobe Prelude and Red Giant’s Magic Bullet for ingest and transcoding, optimal image capture using Zeiss lenses, shooting with the 5D Mark III and Blackmagic Cinema Camera, Red Giant’s color suite (or DaVinci for Blacmagic users), and how they all come together to form a great post production workflow. Here’s more about the night from the LAPPG site:
Join us as HDSLR Shooter’s Clint Milby brings us up-to-date with DSLR Post Workflows covering DSLR video files, recording, ingesting, transcoding, editing, color grading and final export. He will also share his experiences working with ATOMOS Ninja2 as well as the Blackmagic Cinema Camera.
The LAPPG is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to join with like minded professionals and learn a bit about DSLR post. The cost is only $5 and you can RSVP for the night here: www.eventbrite.com. You can also find out more about the LAPPG at LAPPG.com.
