Director Enzo Castellari Receives Honors at BandPro Open House

December is rapidly approaching at that means it’s time for the annual BandPro Open House in Burbank.  This year beyond the bevy of gear to see from leading manufactures including, Blackmagic Design, Canon, AJA, RED, Sony, Carl Zeiss and Atomos, Band Pro will also honor veteran Italian Director Enzo Castellari.
Castellari, born in Rome,  is a director and writer, known for Keoma (1976), 1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982) and Cold Eyes of Fear (1971).  Most notably, his films have been the inspiration for Quentin Tarantino’s remakes of “Django Unchained” and “Inglorious Bastards.”

Currently Enzo is in preproduction on a new film starring legendary Spaghetti Western actor (and ‘Keoma’ star) Franco Nero.  Band Pro’s President and CEO, Amnon Band remarked: “We’re thrilled to have Enzo join us as our Guest of Honor this year. Open House is always a great time, but with this being Band Pro’s 30th Anniversary, this year’s event promises to be something really special.”

BandPro’s Open House will be held Thursday, December 11th, 2014 at Band Pro’s Burbank headquarters, and admission is free with RSVP.
