Band Pro’s Guest of Honor this year will be Academy Award winning cinematographer Dean Semler, ASC. Known for his groundbreaking films including: Dances with Wolves, Apocalypto, The Road Warrior, Maleficent and many more; Dean’s work continues to inspire audiences worldwide as well as the next generation of filmmakers.
Band Pro President & CEO Amnon Band noted: “There’s so much to learn from ‘Dances with Wolves’ and Dean’s work in general. He gave us a beautiful, vivid glimpse into the history of this country and a window into the early West. For me, it’s like watching a documentary. We are truly honored to have him at this year’s Open House. I hope you’ll join us.”
