LAPPG September: Facility Tour, Networking and STUCCO Panel at the New ZEISS Cinema Lens Demo Center

Join Los Angeles Post Production Group for our September 11th meeting at the new ZEISS Cinema Lens Demo Center in Sherman Oaks. We’ll have the opportunity to network, tour the facility, enjoy light refreshments and we’ll be treated to a panel where we’ll have an inside look at the making of STUCCO, a thought-provoking short film produced in partnership with RED Digital Cinema and EFILM.

The panel will explore the emotional and technical aspects of making a film with heavy practical and visual effects and how to leverage RED DSMC2 with ZEISS lens metadata technology (eXtended Data) for a streamlined workflow from production to post.
Snehal Patel, Director Cinema Sales, ZEISS

  • Joachim Zell, VP of Technology, EFILM/ Stucco Imaging Scientist
  • Barry Goch, Senior Finishing Artist, Foundation Post/Stucco Editor
  • Dan Duran, Post Production & Workflow Specialist, RED Digital Cinema

As at all LAPPG meetings, we will have our popular end of the evening raffle, where we will be giving away thousands of dollars of prizes from our supportive partners.
Join us for this special evening and see what a great resource ZEISS has created for filmmakers!
