In addition to their new DC Slider upgrades, Mathews Studio Equipment also had two other new products of note: the NOGA Arms and Matthews Slider Stand.
The NOGA Arms are articulating arms that use steel rods instead of the usual cable system found in many other similar arms. MSE’s Tyler Philips notes that the cable based arms tend to wear out over time, something their NOGA arms wont have a problem with. The NOGA Arms also come with a quick release feature. You simply screw in the 1/4-20 quick release device into your light, camera, etc. and you have the device ready to take on and off quickly and safely.
The NOGA Arms cost about $160 and are available now. You can find out more about the NOGA Arms in our interview above, as well as at www.msegrip.com
The MSE Slider Stands are perfect for mounting your slider of choice (such as the DC Slider). The Slider Stand has double Rocky Mountain Legs for easy leveling on uneven terrain and stands lower than the standard low boy combo. This gives you a wider range of height to work with. It also comes with numerous adaptors for a variety of sliders.
The Slider Stand runs for $395, and is available now. For more information see our interview above and visit www.msegrip.com
