Gizmodo recently did a hands on review of the weatherproof K-30 and they found some interesting results. Overall, they thought that the camera was very easy to operate and had very navigable menus. According to Gizmodo, the camera’s 16.3 megapixel APS-C sensor took beautiful still images. However, there was one major downfall….the video. Apparently, the K-30’s video mode is less than great. When using stabilization, the image distorts quite a bit. If you don’t use image stabilization, the video is unusable.
