Blackmagic Camera Update For URSA Mini 4K & 4.6K, URSA Viewfinder

Blackmagic Design has released a firmware update to the URSA Mini 4K and 4.6K cameras and the URSA Viewfinder, improving white balance, saturation and more.

Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6K

• Improved default White Balance
• Improved sensor response to lens shading
• Improved saturation when recording in VIDEO dynamic range

Blackmagic URSA Mini 4K

• Improved saturation when recording in VIDEO dynamic range
• Improved saturation of SDI and LCD output when monitoring VIDEO while recording in FILM dynamic range

Blackmagic URSA Viewfinder

• Improved saturation of FILM to VIDEO monitoring for URSA Mini 4K
• Improved saturation of FILM to VIDEO monitoring for URSA Mini 4.6K

Minimum system requirements for Mac OS X

• Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan or better
• Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite or better
• A suitable USB 2.0 port
• Thunderbolt port for UltraScope and Media Express when using Blackmagic Cinema Camera or Blackmagic Production Camera 4K

Minimum system requirements for Windows

• Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit
• Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit
• A suitable USB 2.0 port
• A suitable Thunderbolt port when using Blackmagic Cinema Camera or Blackmagic Production Camera 4K
