If you’re in LA this weekend, this is an event that you surely don’t want to miss. It’s a FREE Canon workshop hosted by Michael Cioni – CEO of Light Iron. The workshop is on “Understanding Canon Log”, which is a new gamma setting on the Canon EOS C300.
The Canon Log records with approx. 12 stops of dynamic range. Something that all Cinematographers and Colorists will appreciate when color grading their footage in post. Michael Cioni will be discussing the applications of Canon Log, as well as showing examples of footage he has shot using it. As a bonus, attendees will get to watch a screening of the short film “The Ticket”, post production by Light Iron. Although this is a FREE event, advanced registration is required.
