ICG President, Steven Poster, ASC – Live from the Red Carpet

Steven Poster, ASC, is a household name among industry insiders, not only because he’s been president of the ICG since 2006, but because of his long body of work.  With cinematographer credits which include such films as Southland Tales, Donnie Darko and RocketMan as well as camera credits that include Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Blade Runner, the man is truly an industry legend.

It’s expected for someone with such a career to care very much about the industry because it effects them.  However, what’s uncommon is to find someone of his stature that cares very much about the industry because how it effects others.  In the case of the SOC awards, his attendance is a manifestation of that caring as he goes to support and celebrate union members who are being recognized for their accomplishments.
