Is the 7D Mark II Really Real? Maybe…

Well, the rumor mill is at it again!  From the depths of the Canon camera rumor vaults, dust is being blown off of the 7D Mark ii release once again.  It’s been thought for several months that Canon was going to be releasing an update of it’s popular 7D DSLR.  Many were expecting it’s announcement with the 5D mkiii last year, and were disappointed when only the 5D was announced.

Apparently Canon Rumors has an anonymous tipster (go figure).  Canon is said to have 3 prototypes of a Canon 7d mk ii being tested.

The camera is RUMORED to include:

-24.3 megapixel APS-C sensor

-dual Digic V processor

-61-AF points

-ISO performance similar to 5d mkiii
