Join LACPUG For Blackmagic Night: Meet Experts, Network, Win Prizes

The Los Angeles Creative Pro User Group (LACPUG) will be meeting next Wednesday, May 25, for a night full of Blackmagic info. Learn all you can on the URSA, URSA Mini, DaVinci Resolve, Fusion 8 and more from experts such as Paul Saccone, Ronny Soussan and Noam Kroll.

The meeting will be held at the Gallery Theatre at Barnsdall Art Park (4800 Hollywood Blvd Hollywood, CA 90027) from 6:00 to 10:00pm. Tickets are just $5 cash.

The night’s agenda will be as follows:

6:45- 7:15PM – Stump the Gurus
Join Gurus
Adam Bedford, Michael Kammes and TBA as they will attempt to answer all of your questions and solve all of your problems concerning FCS and FCPX, Avid, Premiere Pro and anything else you can think of. If they can’t solve your problem or answer your question, then you go home with a problem, but you still got out of the house, so that’s not a bad thing.

7:15PM – 7:25PM – Announcements
This is your time, assuming we have time. New to LA? Say Hello. Got a movie you want people to see? Tell us about it. Looking for a job? Tell us. Offering a job? Tell us.

7:25PM – 8:20PM – DaVinci Resolve 12.5 – Paul Saccone

Paul Saccone is a Senior Director of Marketing at Blackmagic Design. With more than 15 years experience in technology for professional film, television and commercial video production, Paul is a production and post-production workflow specialist, including large scale data-center and infrastructure technology for high-performance multi-user studios. Prior to joining Blackmagic Design, Paul worked at Apple as the Product Manager on Final Cut Pro from versions 2-7.

The most important part of the show. It’s networking time. This is a great opportunity to not only ask questions and get problems solved, but to meet people that just migh
t change your life. Blackmagic Design will have a table in the lobby and will be able to answer all of your questions about all of their products. There are snacks and drinks for sale. All proceeds go to the Gallery Theatre.

For the past 20+ years, he has utilized Fusion in a wide range of projects from long-term films to interactive client commercial sessions.
