LAPPG November: GoPro Post Production & Awards, Adobe Creative Cloud & More

The Los Angeles Post Production Group’s (LAPPG) packed November 9th meeting will bring together GoPro team members to discuss their exciting new freelance editor community and GoPro Awards program, as well as Adobe’s Al Mooney to discuss the latest Creative Cloud updates.

LAPPG has assembled several GoPro team members to present their new freelance editor community for those looking to edit “a variety of GoPro content and who want to continue to improve their skill set”. They will also discuss how GoPro users can make money from their footage through their GoPro Awards and Content Licensing programs.

Adobe’s Al Mooney will return to provide updates on their Creative Cloud service. Some of Creative Cloud’s recent updates have included the new Team Project feature, allowing team members to work on the same project at the same time and share their changes instantly. Other new features include Adobe VR, new and expanded 3D tools, all of which Mooney may cover in his presentation.

As always, LAPPG’s meeting will be held at the Crossroads  School – Sports Complex Community Room  (2nd floor) 1634 18th Street Santa Monica, CA 90404 at 7:00 pm. It’s just $5 at the door which gets you a raffle ticket for LAPPG’s awesome prize giveaways.

Members get up to speed with Two Industry Powerhouses

October 20th, 2016- Los Angeles, CA — The Los Angeles Post Production Group (LAPPG), a leading entertainment industry organization and networking group, will be hosting two industry giants, GoPro and Adobe at their November 9th, 2016 meeting at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, CA. This event is a valuable opportunity for creative professionals to learn about the latest opportunities and offerings from these two companies.

GoPro will present their latest exciting programs including their new freelance editor community designed for those interested in editing a variety of GoPro content and who want to continue to improve their skill set. Attendees will also learn how they can get paid for their best GoPro content through programs: GoPro Awards and Content Licensing!

GoPro dynamic team members, Devon Vandervort, Sr. Program Manager for Content Acquisitions, Jon-Paul Harrison, Senior Manager of Content Licensing and Claire Podgorski, GoPro’s Creator Marketplace team, will be presenting and connecting with creative content makers.

Adobe’s Premiere Pro product manager, Al Mooney will be traveling back to the group to update us on the latest from Adobe Creative Cloud, which empowers creative professionals to create visually stunning videos faster with industry-leading video and audio apps, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition and Media Encoder. He will demonstrate how the latest innovations will continue to make Premiere Pro CC the market leading NLE.
