Utilizing Rights And Clearances For Your Production
The question of rights and clearances often comes up in many different aspects of our work. Questions like, when do we need to get clearance, how do you find out who has the rights and when is something fair use are common questions and issues we all run up against. To help explain and clarify how we should be using rights and clearances in our productions we are thrilled to have internationally known specialist in Film Research, Rights and Clearances, Barbara Gregson, sharing her expertise with us at our September 13th 
meeting.

Barbara has been a guest lecturer for the Producers Guild of America, the International Documentary Association and USC School of Cinema, UCLA Department of Film and Television, California State University Northridge and UCLA Extension. She has served on the Board of Directors of the International Documentary Association, the American Association of Producers and is a member of the Producers Guild of America, the Federation of Commercial and Audiovisual Libraries (FOCAL), Women in Film and CLEAR, in which she currently serves as Co-Executive Director.
