NAB 2014: RE: Vision Effects Plugin Updates

The folks at RE: Vision Effects have been busy updating their line of plugins, and we were able to talk to Peter Litwinowicz about what’s on they have on horizon.

According to Litwinowicz the weeks leading up to NAB were all about providing GPU support to their plugins for higher compatibility and speed within NLEs. This is becoming a much more widespread feature in the editing world as they discover the power GPUs can provide, freeing up crucial memory power.

They also released their new DE:Flicker plugin to help with timelapse and high frame rate flickering. This helps compensate for flixcker caused by changes in lighting or scenery during such shoots, and help smooth out the look of your video.
