Zylight is once again giving away a handful of their Newz on camera led lights, this time at IBC.
Similar to their NAB giveaway, Zylight will be holding a twitter contest through the duration of IBC 2015. Each day they will choose one twitter user who tweets to @Zylight using #SpreadTheNewz and #Zylight in their tweet. The winner will be chosen randomly at the end of each conference day and awarded a Newz light. It’s important to note that you don’t have to attend IBC to win the Newz.
You can visit Zylight on September 11 through September 15th, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm in booth 11.E38. For more information on the Newz light, check out our NAB interview above, and be sure to visit www.Zylight.com/Newz
Zylight ‘Spread the Newz’ Contest Offers Free On-Camera Lights During IBC2015 |
LOS ANGELES – August 27, 2015 – Zylight, a leading manufacturer of innovative LED lighting solutions, is encouraging IBC2015 attendees to “Spread the Newz” via Twitter about its Newz on-camera light. During the #SpreadTheNewz IBC Giveaway, Zylight will award one Newz to someone who tweets about the new light each day during the show, which runs Sept. 11-15 at RAI Amsterdam.
The free five-day contest begins when the IBC exhibit hall opens on Sept. 11 at 10:30 a.m. CEST, and concludes on Sept. 15 when the IBC exhibit hall closes at 4 p.m. CEST. Entrants should tweet to @Zylight with the hashtags #SpreadTheNewz and #Zylight included in the message. Zylight will randomly select one tweet from each day’s tweets to receive a free Newz on-camera light. IBC attendees are also encouraged to include photos of the Zylight booth (Stand 11.E38) in their tweets. Built on Zylight’s new compact ZX platform, the Newz features a unique articulated arm and custom barn doors for easy height, angle, and spread adjustments. The fully dimmable white light offers brightness settings from tungsten to daylight, and its proprietary LED matrix provides true color reproduction similar to the company’s flagship F8-100 LED Fresnel. It also features ZyLink™, Zylight’s wireless technology, so it can be linked to multiple Zylights for simultaneous remote control. Plus, an optional hot shoe accessory allows DSLR shooters to take advantage of the light’s strobe functionality. “Our Newz on-camera light is perfect for broadcast news because it provides a high quality of light that other low-cost LED camera lights just can’t deliver,” said Charlie Collias, senior vice president of worldwide sales for Zylight. “Its soft but punchy output complements skin tones, and the light itself is easy to adjust in the field. We can’t wait to see how creative IBC attendees get when they help us ‘Spread the Newz’ during the show.” People who do not attend IBC can still enter the #SpreadTheNewz IBC Giveaway, and a booth photo is not required for a valid contest entry.
