Photokina is upon us, and Carl Zeiss is slowly leaking info about new product announcements. But, if you really want to know what they’re planning, you’ll have to do more than shout out conjecture and speculation. If you want their secrets, you’ll have to work for them.
Leading up to Photokina, Zeiss will issue a series of challenges. Every time you meet one of the challenges, you’ll find out a little bit more about what they are releasing at the show.
For the first challenge, you’ll need to take a portrait of your Zeiss lens or at least a Zeiss lens. They’re looking for mere snapshots, but images that are both unique and skillfully produced.
I’m not sure what exactly Zeiss is planning for Photokina 2014, but with all this teasing, I’m expecting something very big.

Skillfully stage your ZEISS lens!
There’s a certain magic about portraits. And for ZEISS fans their lens is an indispensable tool. Why not combine these two? Skillfully stage your ZEISS lens – maybe take its portrait from an unusual perspective. Then share the photo on our Facebook page or on Twitter (@carlzeisslenses) and thus get the next information snippet.
With every challenge solved you receive another part of the image
It’s that easy to participate in our game to receive further information snippets:
