Photokina is upon us, and Carl Zeiss is slowly leaking info about new product announcements. But, if you really want to know what they’re planning, you’ll have to do more than shout out conjecture and speculation. If you want their secrets, you’ll have to work for them.
Leading up to Photokina, Zeiss will issue a series of challenges. Every time you meet one of the challenges, you’ll find out a little bit more about what they are releasing at the show.
For the first challenge, you’ll need to take a portrait of your Zeiss lens or at least a Zeiss lens. They’re looking for mere snapshots, but images that are both unique and skillfully produced.
Once you’ve taken your picture, simply upload it to their twitter account with the the hashtag #ZEISSphk14, or their facebook page.
I’m not sure what exactly Zeiss is planning for Photokina 2014, but with all this teasing, I’m expecting something very big.
