Tuesday, Oct. 15, Tiffen will host a launch party of the Steadicam Steadimate-S at their Burbank facility from 4PM to 8PM.
There will be food, drink, raffles, demos and more including a panel discussion with three camera operators:
Neill Bachand – Steadicam/Camera Operator
Bachand used it on a series. He owns a Steadicam system and the show he’s on has been using the Ronin-S more. He will discuss how the Steadimate-S allows him to do Steadicam-like moves with the Ronin-S from that perspective.
Josh Rottman – Professional Lacrosse League
Rottman has been shooting action sports and some lifestyle things with it for a while.
Hugo Bordes – Camera Operator
Bordes used the Steadimate-S on a project shooting at Burning Man this year. He tested it in extreme environments.
Yours truly will moderate the discussion as I recently used the Steadimate-S to shoot an event for a documentary I’m currently producing and have used the Ronin-S extensively on that documentary as well.
