From the comfort of our homes, ZEISS will host a Zoom conversation with three accomplished cinematographers known for their work on high end commercials and music videos featuring today’s chart-topping artists.
Taylor J. Randall, David Weldon Jr., and Eric Schmidt will take you behind the scenes on some of their favorite projects to date, and share their decision-making process behind lighting techniques, equipment choices, camera movements, and more!

Taylor James Randall is a Los Angeles based cinematographer with more than 12 years of industry experience. His work comprises more than 150 music videos for world-renowned artists such as Justin Bieber, The Backstreet Boys, DJ Khaled, and more.
David Weldon Jr. is originally from Bowie, MD but his filmmaking career began in college while in Pittsburgh. From there he worked in sports broadcasting before moving to Los Angeles and transitioning to film, commercial and music videos. He has lensed projects for Rolls Royce, Fiat, Sting & Imagine Dragons to name a few.
Based in Los Angeles, cinematographer Eric Schmidt has photographed films and television shows for directors Mark Pellington, Simon West, Agnieska Holland and Yann Samuell, as well as hundreds of commercials with directors like Noam Murro, Wayne McClammy, Andreas Nilsson, Damian Kulash and Steve Miller.
